Of course, the corner and cieling run still need the same treatment and I need to do spot sanding and build up the edge by the kitchen door still so a lot of work to do but I reckon if I'm done by the start of March I can get it painted, tidied, dusted, and furnished enough for an apre-meet party.

This white plaster is super dusty and probably what killed my sander so I've been hand sanding it and most of the window portal is now good enough.

There's a couple of bits to touch up and it needs building up to the sill but I might actually hit my goal of having the room painted by the next meet.

The worst part isn't even the obvious errors, it's the inobvious one buried in the config that you don't understand that turns a dozen lines of typescript into a fucking megabyte of javascript the moment you import a library.

God I fucking hate it when a tutorial is like "here's a light and easy to understand version of the complicated thing" and it turns out to be half a fucking implementation with obvious errors.
