customers face hosepipe bans and rising billsβ€”and actual SHIT floods our rivers.

This is what privatized water looks like.
- Huge payouts at the top.
- Crumbling infrastructure.
- Accountability flushed away.

It’s a national scandal.
Water should be public.
Run for people, not for profit.

Revealed: Yorkshire Water boss was paid extra Β£1.3m via offshore parent firm Company says extra payments relating to work for Kelda Holdings were covered by shareholders not billpayers

www.theguardian.com/business/202...

Yorkshire Water gave Β£1.5 million to the Chief Operating Officer this year.

Let that sink in.

That same money could’ve given every frontline worker Β£600 eachβ€”a 1.9% pay rise on top of the below-inflation 4.5% they got.

Instead, one exec pockets the lot.

🚨 Tory & Lib Dem Peers are doing the bidding of bad bosses.

They voted to:
❌ Keep zero-hours contracts
❌ Let bosses sack workers unfairly
❌ Attack teaching assistants’ pay

It’s time they got out of the way.

Labour campaigned on valuing our NHS staff, but a below-inflation 3.6% pay offer is the opposite of valuing nurses. Same austerity politics, different colour rosette.

Not at all β€” I’m pointing out how Reform UK latch onto popular frustrations (like censorship) not out of principle, but pure opportunism. Suddenly they're free speech warriors? Come off it.

Not sure when an option such as this became so edgy or controversial. She speaks common sense.

Feels like this could be a pivotal week in determining whether David Lammy ends up facing the Hague for his complicity in Israeli war crimes.

I like the @greenparty.org.uk and the progressive policies but I don't think it will ever shake the shackles of being perceived as party of enviromental nutters - without doing that, they can't be serious contenders.

Better to #backzack or hand in the membership card, sign up to yourparty.uk and set up a monthly donation? It's the second one for me but what do you think?

Likely someone being opportunistic more than anything. Hopefully they are sympathetic with the cause - but taking the handle when it's only a temporary name is somewhat shortsighted if not.
