Mass Effect first released in 2007 when I was only gaming sparingly, busy with college and the upcoming birth of my daughter. 18 years later, it was finally time to give the series a try.

The more I think about it, I really did it all - dance, rap, play instruments (trumpet and piano self-taught), was in drama club, played football, ran track, played basketball, did gymnastics. I can always say I had no regrets because anything I took interest in, I gave it a real try.

Fun fact: I absolutely knew the entire choreography for this video as a kid lol

I think I've finally grown out of my "war shooter game" era. I been off COD for some years now, and even though it looks really good, I just don't have a lot of interest in Battlefield 6.

The doo-doo-do-do that still always makes me think of Metal Gear Solid, as that's where I first heard it.

Snatcher and Policenauts are the one-two punch of older Kojima stuff that you should play any way you can, as they're awesome and it's doubtful if they'll see a re-release.
