Yesterday we hosted another open event.
As an online tabletop games retailer, hosting these in-person events is one of our personal highlights in the business, as we get to actually meet our customers!
This time we had a huge £10 Game Sale with lots of amazing bargains and happy faces all day!

We had a couple of contenders for 'coolest find' today, but we've decided the coolest is this thrash metal gem!

When buying games for our personal collection, we often buy pre-owned too, and taking good care of games for shipping is sadly not the norm!

We've just started a new "Tabletop Rescue" project and it's going to be a long road.
We're aiming to sort this joblot of Marvel Champions back into saleable format, as well as trying to rescue the playmats that have seen better days.

As a teenager, one of my best friends painted Warhammer and I really did not understand the appeal. Fast forward 20 years and today I made a detour to Warhammer World for breakfast!
I wish I'd discovered tabletop games sooner, but at least I did eventually!
It's always nice to be able to do something special for our customers.
We don't have physical store, but we were able to organise a special visit to our stockroom today for a surpise birthday treat!

We've completed another "Rescue" project this morning.
We bought these three Battletech boxes 3 months ago, but the minis have only just been located by the original owner and now they're reunited.
Now we'll find them a new home where they'll hopefull hit the table soon!

Expeditions (the sequel to Scythe from @stonemaiergames.com) is our latest addition to our personal collection.
It's unusual for us to love a new game enough to sleeve the cards, buy the expansion, add upgraded coins and paint the minis all in 1 week!

This big stack of historical war games is a single customer order from one of our regulars.
We recently starting talking more about our wishlist service and it's awesome to be fulfilling orders for some sought after grail games for our customers.

Last night we got the chance to play Finspan from @stonemaiergames.com
It's a much lighter gamer than we were expecting, but it was about right for us after a hectic week here.
Wyrmspan still tops the charts for -span games, but we'd be happy to play again.
