Tempting their depravities,
coerced loyalties

Gleefully they shared his hate
Their false god denounced too late

Skygazing. I spend an unbelievable amount of time looking into clouds as though they are a crystal ball. It's of no matter, they never tell me what I can't sense, anyhow. They do however show me the way to clarity, fragments to hold lest the shards rot away, unnoticed.

Spring floods ancient forests

Demons breathe darkness from below
Angels tangled wings weep light
Earth hums hymns of life

Hell & Heaven dance a rhythm
Set for the years
Who knows what splendour & horrors

absolutely! steamed and sautéed are my favorite ways to prepare them. they’re ideally harvested between April and June and grow in damp soil near rivers and streams, in humid, shady forests. sometimes you can also find them in organic or specialty markets. eat ‘em up! yum!

heh!, the Fibonacci spiral is strong with this one. 🥁 they’re best eaten while tightly coiled up. once they unfurl, they’re tougher and more fern than food. still fun to watch that spiral open over a few days and become full-on woodland fractal
