Trump was the president on January 6, 2021. The FBI was controlled by Trump then, not Biden—and Biden would not be sworn in for another two weeks.
Trump’s priorities: spreading deranged conspiracies, building ballrooms and triumphant arches, sending the U.S. military to invade blue states and cities, giving $20 billion to Argentina instead of protecting healthcare for 20m Americans, and building Qatari Air Force bases inside the United States.
