Years ago, I really enjoyed an Australian teen drama called Heartbreak High. It taught me how very different the accent is from any of the UK accents! Any Australian I’ve met since has been so pleased to be recognized!

We’re pretty far, but also, big enough that in Nova Scotia, I’m closer to London England than I am to Victoria BC. And it’s usually cheaper to get to the UK!
