Also on a Mac. From the description, it sounded like disabling connected experiences would also prevent sharing documents in Sharepoint, which is something I need to do.
Same. Can’t seem to get rid of Copilot without also getting rid of some other things I actually do want. There no basic “disable Copilot” button - because that would be logical.
I don’t know if Biden’s response is related to this, but I find it fascinating. And … people really don’t like Musk/Zuckerberg. bsky.app/profile/ever...
And they are all American. Among other things, the US needs to fix its tax system so that no single individual has enough money to buy this kind of influence.
I still can’t figure out when this guy does the actual work that has made him a billionaire.
What is the volume of lies and conspiracy theories re CA wildfires as compared to FL hurricanes?
What is the best hedge against the impending bubble burst?
FA —> fail to invest in education. FO —> this, all of it.
I also think social media plays a role here. It’s created an environment where the noisiest self-promoter. We’re always focused on the reckless driver instead of the person quietly planning safer roads.
I struggle to find examples of these kinds of leaders now. In fact, people who do demonstrate these qualities end up getting overlooked or dismissed. The whole culture around “what is leadership?” has been turned upside down.
This! I’m old enough to remember when this was the norm - you wouldn’t make it to leadership position unless you demonstrated the ability to think about the greater good.

Agree. It sounds like a small team is going to extraordinary lengths to keep this *free* playground fun/safe for all of us. I hope they take the time they need - both to continue to fulfill that goal and to avoid burnout.
Thank you for what you are doing. It’s insanely hard work.
I think there are a lot of ppl like me there - frequently online, rarely post, frequently like, sometimes comment. Just raising my hand for the position that the quiet ones are not always suspect. :-)
A better metric might be length of time on Twitter — people who were there since the early days, before it became a troll farm, would likely be reliable conduits for invites.
There are people like me who are not verified, and would love to get invites into the hands of some high quality, non-abusive people who would contribute a lot to this community.
