I wish it were just an “alleged guy somewhere,” but image scraping and reposting without credit happens quite a lot. The watermark is simply my way of discouraging that. Everyone chooses their own balance between presentation and protection.

Thanks for the comment, but I have had people post my pics elsewhere and take credit, which is why I put the watermark in the middle.

Thank you for taking an interest in this, but the wings do not look similar to the nightjar image you posted. I have seen both, and I am convinced that it is a common nighthawk. Also, I saw it in flight, and the wings confirm it for me.
