There's no longer any upside to Twitter over Bluesky. Twitter's engagement is terrible, it downranks external links, and you're subjected to straight nazi shit if you write even the most banal post. Why are we subjecting ourselves to this?

Bluesky app opens links directly in my browser rather than an in-app browser experience (no need to follow users around for ad purposes). That alone makes it better than all the other apps

Now we’re cooking, feels like I’ve been able to refollow a great deal of people I followed at the old place and organize into lists. Which Threads somehow still doesn’t have?

How would data sharing work given GDPR and other privacy regulations? I’m sure plenty of people don’t want their data automatically shared with a bunch of other companies, especially foreign (Russian, Chinese companies like Yandex and Baidu)
