I set aside time to listen to nature.
On the morning of August 10th we experienced the effects of an enormous landslide and mega-tsunami that struck South Sawyer Glacier in Tracy Arm, Alaska.
What we witnessed 40 miles away were unusual currents and surges of water up to 10 feet in our anchorage.

We came across this coastal brown bear mom a d her cub clamming in Misty Fjords National Monument in May. While mom was super intent on clamming, the cub would get bored and appear at times to pout.
