I do want to pick up another hobby-style game, though. I think this is part of why I've been going so hard on fighting games lately. Think I'm kind of hoping they fill that void, so to speak.

I think I'm still kind of in the mourning period about it, because it really is not easy to watch a major special interest stop being special (especially nowadays, when they're so important to hold on to,) but I do feel like I care about it less and less, which can only be a good thing at this point

It's funny, people joke about how many changes were supposed to be the thing that "kills MTG" over the years, and I do agree the game is too big to really die. But it *can* change to the point where it's a completely different thing.

It can't die, but it can become something you don't connect with.
