staff here is amazing! i so badly want this place to work out. im a troll though and i mostly just troll tech oligarchs so ive been taking a break from ai and cut my online time down to a fraction and m just working on projects off the grid and trolling a bit with friends in a troll environment<3

thats solid advice and yeah i do or was spending a lot of time on discover. i def found a lot of cool people here but i think a lot of my shitpoaster friends felt unwelcome here and people dont like ai (trust me im not happy about a lot of things in that field right now either) the staff here is-->

welp most everyone ive encountered on this site was nice to me (i didnt talk to many people) but holy heck my feed has become full of more hate than twitter (my algos there were pretty dialed in) like i was already sad, this place could be great but over half the posts are bitter 1 in 1000 are funny

back then i could look at an essay for a few moments and tell which ai wrote it. i wasnt tying to get kids busted for using ai.. it was the false positives that got me ticked off so that had to be fixed.. sometimes there are only so many ideal ways to say something.. it aint always plagerism<3

haha yeah.. my one homie gives them a chance to rewrite it in their own words. it was messy at first, they were getting false positives on students who wrote by hand and the kids that were using gpt3.5 didnt get caught cuz the professors were still using cheatah<3

everything ive ever done with openai has gone back into their training data.. i thought we were building something to make the world a better place (despite my dislike of microsoft) so its been fun and i learned a lot but i dont like the trajectory of this new plot<3

thanks it is what it is, my gpu are nvidia tesla p40's.. on old supermicro server boards with 2 xeon cpu each. its like ancient tec at this point. i stopped working with google for 3 reasons and been loyal to openai for a hot minute and have countless projects and questions unfinished but i dunno<3
