all I talk about here are games and anime...
Maybe I should switch things up by rambling about how frustrated I am due to high grocery prices and utility bills.

I literally had to force myself to buy a Switch.
I bought Splatoon 3 even before getting it, just to make myself think that the game would be wasted if I didn't have the console to play it.
I managed to save up for Switch 2 for almost a year now, and with the physical definitive 'definitive' Xenoblade X next month, I'm finally ready to buy it. Have the money and reasonable excuse for it.
and now I'm second guessing again??!! aaaa why am I like this
This is an illustration commissioned via Skeb.
I agonized over how to capture the personalities of both characters within a single illustration.
I'm satisfied that it turned out to be a piece I'm happy with.
These are dgu-san's original characters, γγγ΅ and γγγ.
They're absolutely adorable.π
I'm not really trying to prove any point...
I'm just so tired of youtubers repeatedly saying that the Gen 1 games are broken. I honestly hear them say that more times than hear them say that they actually love Pokemon.
They talk about it as if it's the most broken game that ever existed. But if it was, then millions of people all over the world wouldn't even be able to fall in love with the series in the first place.

Even the game breaking glitches I see require really specific steps to execute. Save and turn off the game at a specific point, fly during a specific NPC dialog, or do specific button combinations.
Is it really broken when the brokenness is hidden behind multiple layers of instruction?
stupid question
Youtubers like to call Pokemon Gen 1 games as 'code held by duct tape' and 'miracle it even works'. But how broken is it really for a normal player?
I know a lot of stuff, like moves and items, don't work as intended, but those don't severely hinder the game experience.
my steam deck wasn't booting up properly since the first week of the year, but it finally got fixed yeeeeeey
I've been literally losing sleep for 2 months because of it. I would dream that I was trying to fix it and it worked, but then I'd wake up. I can finally sleep with one less worry.
thank you!!!

Why the heck are there PS6 leaks already??!!
I haven't played even five current gen games on PS5. Most I've played are from my PS4 backlog or PS4/PS5 cross gen games.
Does anyone know of a Zelda Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask playthrough on youtube where the commentator reads all the text / dialogue and doesn't shout or overreact to everything?
I tried looking, but most of them speed through all the text because they've played it more than thrice already.
I seriously think I'm having a coffee withdrawal this past two days.
aaaa how long will this go on
Whenever I listen to true crime commentaries, the person would always say that they 'would have done this' or they 'wouldn't have than that'.
That's so easy for them to say when they don't have any emotional connection with the case and just reading about it in the comfort of their homes.
I know that Granblue anniversary and Steam release is this week, but that doesn't seem to be related.

Not sure if I'm just stupid but...
Umamusume anniversary is February for JP, and June for EN. Are they just celebrating 3 months early?
I'm panicking because I wanna make a drawing, but not sure how much time I have left.
I'm fine with reading a bunch of text, considering that visual novel is one of my favorite game genres. But reading long texts in the middle of an action game... I kinda just wanna hurry up and play.
It's really a bad habit, but I guess for me, it's either 'all reading' or 'all action'.
Finished watching 130+ hours of a Cyberpunk 2077 base game playthrough. Gotta be honest, I had more fun watching the game than playing it on my own.
It's my fault though, since I only did minimal reading of the lore text. But I don't think I would have finished it if I read even half of it.
I still miss you everyday

February Dev Blog is up!
This time, itβs about translation. Weβre aiming to support English and Chinese (Simplified and Traditional) in the new game. I also talk about how localization moves forward on the development side.
