Sending love to Melissa Claire Egan. She shared on Instagram that she was diagnosed in late January with coronary heart disease after high bloodwork led to a heart scan revealing mild plaque in her LAD artery. Thankfully it was caught early and she’ll be okay with treatment.
40 years ago today I was outside Guiding Light’s Chelsea studio when two powerhouses walked out — Kim Zimmer and Jerry verDorn. What a moment.
Now Kim is rehearsing Driving Miss Daisy at Cape Fear Regional Theatre in Fayetteville, NC (March 19–April 4). If you can make it, don’t walk, run.
