My Saturday rewatch, 'A Killer in Every Corner' from 01/02/75. I think this must be the most disturbing #BrianClemensThriller, with the eager young science students unknowingly walking into a trap. LWT appears to have opted out of the network schedule once again broadcasting it at 8.15pm.

An unusual 'End of Part One' slide for 'Killer with Two Faces'. I cannot remember if I've noticed it before but it almost leapt off the screen at me tonight. Not the normal white caption on black. I really enjoyed watching it tonight. Ian Hendry is masterclass. #BrianClemensThriller.

Despite it not being up there with my favourites, Ian Henry is his usual brilliant self. Maybe because personally, I find series 4 the weakest of the 6. All about personal preference I guess. I loved him in The Lotus Eaters. Another series I watched when originally broadcast.

I will enjoy watching that & all the other filmed Avengers episodes again sometime soon in a higher quality than before, as I've just picked up the Blu-rays rather cheaply. 🙂

Where does 'Killer with Two Faces' fall on my radar? Well, it was among the first of LWT's in 1981 & I didn't video-record it, something I later regretted. I then had to make an extra effort to try to get it recorded from another region. Success came with the Anglia broadcast. #BrianClemensThriller.

Btw this is my least favourite of the Donna Mills episodes and one I don’t rewatch that often.

I'm fairly sure Donald Gee was in The Avengers episode about the 'Classy Glass' window cleaners, with their motto "Never leave your ladder unattended"...LOL. If you've gotta work @jabberwocky65.bsky.social, you've gotta work. I've done some pretty unsociable work shifts in my time too. 🙂

Enjoy Ros. I’m working tonight or it would have been a rewatch for me too. Yes he was a great character in this episode, finally getting his man. Another ingenious story from Clemens and Feely. Donald was also in the bleak dystopian 1990. Definitely worth a watch.

It’s the heavenly birthday of Donald Gee on Sunday. He starred as the hapless Tom Patterson in one of my favourite episodes of #BrianClemensThriller Murder in Mind. I’ll be watching it Sunday evening. George Drew,s book appeared in assignment 5 of Sapphire and Steel 8 years later

I’ve always wondered how that book managed to find its way into that S&S episode. Obviously a prop but it’s so random considering the gap in the respective programmes broadcast.

Came about as a result of the 1981 ITV repeats of #Stingray, #Thunderbirds, & #Joe90 if memory serves me correctly. I set my video to record it while I was at work. I watched it back & thought it was naff. Perhaps notable because child guest Kulvinder Ghir went on to become an actor & comedian.
