It made me physically ill following updates from the Supreme Court today. Sending love to trans people, trans kids especially, and their families becauseโฆ whew. Enduring this kind of hostility is an experience us cisgender will never fully understand.
Sotomayor scoffs at suggestion that democratic process will protect trans people: "When youโre 1% of the population or less, it's very hard to see how the democratic process will protect you."
