My dad took up curling in his 50s and absolutely loved it. He became treasurer of his club up in Edinburgh. It made me interested in curling- although no clubs for me in Birmingham - and I'm loving the Olympics. Go Team GB!

1. Birmingham is not dystopian!
2. The strikes affects those with no access to cars to take recycling to the centres - tends to be the least well off. This aspect wasn't discussed.
