Interested in our funding? Join our Ideation workshop!
Facilitated by the Brigstow Team, it will use methods that will help kick start your creativity. Weβll also have colleagues from Bristol Museum and Special Collections at the University of Bristol.
5 June: www.bristol.ac.uk/brigstow/eve...
How can I get involved?
You might already have an idea and be looking to extend your team or be interested in the topic and want to connect with people to build something fresh. Weβd love you to join us at our Ideation event on the 5 June www.bristol.ac.uk/brigstow/eve...
What is the scope?
We are keen to engage creative ways of thinking and working which may include museum practices but not exclusively. Your work could focus on whatβs in the collections themselves, or how we present, study and care for natural history collections that exist.
Who is this for?
Whilst this might particularly appeal to people in earth science, environmental humanities, animal studies, botany or post-colonial studies, we are keen to also include expertise from across all disciplines both within and beyond the University.
The theme for our funding pilot will be: Postcolonial natural history collections and museum and archive practices.

This year we have been reviewing our support for interdisciplinary & co-produced projects, and considering how we might also better prepare projects to apply for larger-scale funding. We are piloting a new funding model.
