I ended up picking up a Switch 2 to only realize that I don’t have anything new to do on it, and that I’m apparently missing a bunch of games on the first switch bag I can’t find.

That being said, it’s nice to not lag in fights for TWEWY:NEO now, and should probably finish the extra story.

Trying to do the ZZZ rhythm event on mobile, and it’s like my fingers have rusted and I can’t hit consecutive taps.

I'm so excited that I managed to hit 65k for the first time in Deadly Assault. I've never been able to optimize to that point, but glad that I was able to do it at least once.

I’ve been trying to optimize my run against the Defiler, but I keep getting close to 65k, but not reaching it. I feel like I’m missing something crucial somewhere in the fight to tie in the last 2k… this can definitely be done at M0W1 too.

AND he’s on vacation for the next three weeks, so I’m extra cheesed because now I can’t immediately tell him off to not dump assets on my desk without giving me a heads up that these were coming back, so you know; they don’t go missing because other people have access to our office.

I’m so annoyed. This morning the subway basically was non-existant, so I ended up walking all the way from Union to work. Get to work, and there’s a bunch of laptops piled on my desk because my coworker apparently can’t be assed to put them in the proper processing area in our office.

Yesterday was a snow day, and my sister who’s watching the dog now sent me a video of the dog playing fetch in the backyard. Why is the preview so cute???

The worst part is that I would strongly prefer building my own PC than have it prebuilt. There’s something fantastic knowing what exactly went into your PC for part choices, and knowing what you can or can’t add to it…

I haven’t been able to sleep properly because I think I’ve just been stressed about how it’s normally the time for me to update my PC, but the pricing has been so steep for ANYTHING component related that it’s just not worth building a PC at all. Guess this year I’ll just game on mobile…

Came home, and ran my Shiyu Defense since I was having a hard time finishing on transit.

I'm thankful that the second fight featured anomaly buffs, so that gave me a good reason to run Burnice post-adjustment, and she's really fun.

I recently ended up going full throttle to nab M2 Ye Shunguang. I did the coop event with friends and they were roasting how I kept being last place in contribution to the point they said, “Imagine whaling and still being bad.” 🥹

Uploaded my draws to the the ZZZ draw tracker, and wow, current banner was a little rough, but got lucky that at least one of the runs did not end up at full pity... The good news is that overall, I technically slowly moved up to around 48% for 50/50 win rate.

Last night I lost 50/50 and 75/25, so I took my frustration out on the new weekly boss. I was very surprised how easily he popped, before one complete Yidhari rotation, expecting him to have the Deadly Assault durability…

… I want to get Bhaisa, but right now I have to hold rolls over to the new banner for horse Zodiac, White Knight and Versusia summon. I’m going to hope that the free rolls come in clutch…

I guess I could just Siero ticket the summon, but more chances the better.

I was reading comments on the other site about the updated SSR animations for GBF, and the translated comment said that it was weirdly smooth and slimy. Then I scrolled down to read the other comments and couldn’t stop laughing. Is this really accurate???

I have the full roster for my account, so I usually play the most recent comps. But sometimes depending on what I need for some of the end game stuff, I pull out the older comps. As a consequence of that, I don’t actually have enough mats to level my 4*s, which includes Manato… OTL

Normally, I stream stuff that I do in ZZZ to my friends in Discord, and one of my longtime friends burns me hard with tuning into the stream, and then commented, “Wait, is that a man in your party? You never have men in your party.” Okay, but Hugo and Lighter were so long ago… 😭😭😭

A coworker showed me a wooting keyboard that he built for a bus of his, and it was Suisei themed. Apparently you can buy the keycaps from CanadaComputers, but when I looked the price, I realized that sounds like something I should think about when my wallet has healed a little…

Now that we’re in winter, I’ve noticed that it takes significantly longer to happen when my phone’s cold, and takes awhile before it heats up. Wondering if my phone’s faulty, or if that’s just a flaw with the 17…

Having my phone for awhile now, one of the things that has been annoying me is that sometimes while often while playing games, my sound distorts itself and doesn’t go away until I swipe to look at apps to switch, then back to the game. Only seems to be affecting Bluetooth AirPods regardless of gen.

I missed my train because of the snowfall, so now I have to wait in the car for an hour while it’s snowing. ( ；´Д｀)

I haven’t seen our dog for awhile because she’s been living with my sister. The other day I came by to help move a couch out, and the dog was very happy to see me. We played fetch in the back for a bit and she seemed pretty pleased. Unfortunately, I suck at photos, so please enjoy this derpy pic.

There was a new ramen place that opened up near my workplace, and I ended up going there for lunch. Easily one of my favourite spots now, because the saltiness reminded me of a place that I liked that was in Akihabara. It’s… weirdly comforting to have a similar taste in Toronto.

Finished the story for ZZZ. Originally I was going to play in CN so that the lines are voiced, but it was so jarring that I went back to the JP voice. I’m looking forward to the next patch already…

Got a better grip on the new boss; I was mostly having timing issues with unloading Yidhari's burst out, but I think I've gotten used to pushing out her chain into double ultis into Glacial Smashes.

Also experimented with Hugo's team, but Hugo/Lighter/Lycaon got to 30k compared to YiXuan 37kish...

Finished up the DA runs before starting the download for the CN VA language download, but it felt like I was able to score higher before with the same team on the Miasmic Fiend? Maybe I'll do more retries once I catch up on story...

Deadly Assault just refreshed, and of course they immediately run the new story boss in its set. I originally wanted to wait until the JP voices get added in, but from the looks of it it won't be for this patch. Guess I'll temporarily move over to the Cn VA voiceover for this story patch...
