asking because it's something I think is important but at the same time I worry set aspect ratios limit my artistic output too much. My perfectionism doesn't help either 😭

Question to people who commission art!
Do you prefer if the art you commission is framed according to the classic aspect ratios (16:9, 4:3, 1:1 etc), or is it something you don't think about?

the reason why i bother with all those layers is simple tbh... I HATE not having control over my drawing process. Everything needs to be easily editable. Barely any merging, separate flats, separate shadows, almost no special mode layers...
