remember when Elon Musk straight up performed a Nazi salute, twice, on stage, and the NYT was like "hmm, huh, what can this mean, who can say"

Both classist and classless. With zero understanding of how football fandom works.

Anyone watched Disclaimer on Apple TV? Thoughts?

Watched the first episode last night and couldn’t get into it. An interesting premise but the script was way too exposition-heavy and flat.

Tramell Tillman has Seth Milchick in Severence

Everyone in Severence is great but every time Milchick is onscreen I'm thinking "There is no reason not to cast this guy in absolutely everything."

Never let them tell you that Irishness is some set, immutable fact of the blood

It's only a couple of years since there were horrible racist "protests" at a community centre around the corner. The damage this stuff does. I've seen it myself in working with youths in the area. They parrot far right racist rhetoric once it's been normalised even slightly

Troy Parrott scores the winning goal for AZ against Roma in the Europa League - his 12th goal in 28 games so far. His is probably the best Irish football story of the season

So here’s my take. We priced working class people out of journalism with the prevalence of unpaid internships. And the fee-paying school kids who replaced them are the most gullible people imaginable. Cause if you don’t think this was a nazi salute, I dunno what to tell you

I showed my fiancΓ©e this picture and it's the closest I've ever seen to anyone do that thing from cartoons where their eyes pop out of their head in real life.

I’m not committing to a Dry January, but I’ve forgotten to drink since the day before New Year’s Eve and I’m at the point where the sound of my own breathing irritates the piss out of me.

The surefire way to get your child on The Late Late Toy Show is to tell RTÉ the kid's hero is someone RTÉ can definitely get at minimal cost. Say your five-year-old daughter's hero is Phillip Boucher-Hayes.

Some of the best memories I have of Christmas are getting the SugrΓ‘dh, Saoimsa, Spraoi or Sonas in primary school. We'd have the rest of the afternoon to read them or play the games in them. That should be a thing in adult life. OK take the rest of the day off and draw a snowman.

This place seems to be taking off so better do a pinned tweet - we've had a few books in recent years, so if you're into the history of Irish neuroscience, or art and the brain, or Irish mythology, there should be something for you here:

Almost a year ago I spent some time in St. Patrick's University Hospital.

I just listened to this brilliant interview with Prof. Annie Curtis, who had a similar experience, and her description of mental health v mental illness really hit home. www.rte.ie/radio/radio1...

Hello! Hello! I’ll be migrating to here over the next little while so if you’ve left the other place, follow me here and I’ll get back to you. Don’t know me at all? Follow me anyway, I have like four or five good bits that I drive into the ground over and over again
