Its hard to find stuff on the internet nowadays, there used to be so many tutorials and resource sites and books in the library. Pinterest is still kinda useful but theres soo much AI on it now.

Whats a good way to learn to draw anime nowadays?
I tried to find some old 90's and modern how to draw books but their not very good quality. I could do it the old fashioned way just ref screenshots and manga books, but I was wondering if there's an actual good resource people would recommend.

I'm always confused by this, one thing I'm glad for living in Portland Oregon is having great tap water. I didn't know for a long time that in other parts of the country people mostly drank bottled water or strait up couldn't drink tap water at all.

For my 15th and final legitimate entry of #Smaugust
I drew the mistress of evil Maleficent.
Tho I didn't hit 31 the 15 I did complete turned out really good! and since it's Year Of The Dragon I'll do the remaining 16 sprinkled thru the rest of the year.

For my 14th entry of #Smaugust I drew Vermithrax Pejorative from the movie Dragonslayer.
Which I had no idea was a Disney film. I haven't seen this film since I was a kid I should give it a rewatch sometime.

For my 13th entry of #Smaugust I drew Mad Madam Mim from The Sword In The Stone, when she transforms into a purple dragon during the wizard duel with Merlin, imo the best part of the film.

For my 12th entry of #Smaugust I drew Singe and Princess Daphne from the game Dragons Lair.
This took forever, the background especially was a big challenge.

For the 10th day of #Smaugust I drew Draco from DragonHeart, one of my favorite movies. This was the most challenging pic sofar, he was very difficult to draw but I think I came up with a simplified design that works. was trying to go for a lion king feel.

For the 8th day of #Smaugust I drew Ludmilla from Bartok The Magnificent.
I thought about drawing her iconic mid transformation but didn't want to just copy it so did her in full dragon but kept her dress turned corset cause its cute.

For the 5th day of #Smaugust I drew Nelly the dragon from the cartoon series Quack Pack. She wears sweat bands so I imagined her doing some jazzercise in a dance studio lol

For the 4th day of #Smaugust I drew Queen Griddle from the cartoon series Blazing Dragons. It's been forever since I saw it but I remember all the characters being afraid of her cause she's huge grumpy and strong so I drew her being terrifying.

For The 3rd day of #Smaugust I drew Gorbash and Smrgol from the 1982 film Flight Of Dragons
I don't think its aged as well as The Last Unicorn but I still love it, it's still one of my favorite movies.

For my first entry in the Smaugust challenge I drew myself transformed into a gold dragon, I thought Id try gold instead of red to mix things up and distinguish it from my red Rex avatar. Not sold on the color but I think it turned out pretty good.
