Some people think wizards shout things like "Merlin's Beard" in times of distress, but these people haven't seen a wizard have a fireball go off backwards.

They tend to say things like "ow, fuck, my fucking arm, I fucking hate magic, bugger this, I'm off down the boozer".

(Drawn for an Adventure in the V&V book that entails a wizard accidentally casting a Bimbofication spell on herself.

A party of willing test subjects might help her remember the spells she’s forgotten.)

There are plenty of wizards with perfect wobblers or a two foot softie, and even some that look vaguely attractive under the exhausted eyes, cigarette stink and tattooed reminders of basic social interaction.

But if a wizard looks gorgeous, something’s gone wrong.

There’s lore behind that glass, not sure what it is yet but it shows up in windows and lanterns quite a lot.

Picking up better guns and armour to get an edge on the other team is ancient gameplay, these new genres add the tension of “waiting for another game if I die”.

I feel like every multiplayer genre has been iterated on so much over 30 years that they're all mutated and weird.

Yup, playable and a monster with an adventure.

Very occasionally, a particularly squirty female Dragonkin will accidentally inseminate a Human. From this union come Gorgons.

The snakes enjoy turning the outer layer of fruits or folks into stone, allowing the insides to ferment into a nourishing, alcoholic goo.

Gorgons have Australian accents.

I’m out here re-listening to all the audiobooks to make sure I’m not actually just stealing his stuff.

Patting myself on the back for the little world-building titbit that the Map Makers and Tattooists share a guild because they “both like drawing monsters in the blank spaces.”

Next patch of V&V will have a preview of some of the adventures 'cause it's dumb putting the Player Guide out with nothin' to do with it.

Considering running a V&V session where my players have to put on a play for a Fae in a yellow robe to escape a pub turned amphitheatre. Occasionally The Thing in Yellow will interject with new elements to the play.

I'm hoping it's the stupidest fucking thing that's ever happened.
