1. cold tap water is by far the best drink. Hot coffee (with real 1/2&1/2) is the close second.

Well, if the ply has appropriate strength/weight ratio, it is probably faster and cheaper to laser cut and glue up the chassis than to 3d print them. 1 laser cutter could easily bang out several thousand pieces per month, while it would take 50+ 3d printers running 24/7 to print the same volume.

After months of frustrating hardware and software breakdowns, I finally bought a new 3d printer. Bambu Labs A1 Mini with AMS filament changer for four color printing. This is the first print-a model of a tardigrade for an upcoming project. Rock solid, fast printing. Very happy! #3dprinting #science

These single-celled critters, originally found in deep-sea sediments, are SO DIFFERENT from other lifeforms on Earth that they're likely in their own kingdom (as in, the Animal Kingdom, the Plant Kingdom etc). 🧪🌿

What looks like the brand name in the lower res images is really just the IR reciver for the remote.

You are correct. Its a prop tv. There are no brand marks on the cabinet. I watched a few clips of the TV on Youtube at full screen, and its pretty clear there is a CRT inset in the cabinet.

This is from season 1 which takes place in 1989. A few seasons later, the TV set reappears with a set of rabbit ears in the top center, which are not apparent here. The stand looks to be a generic chipboard microwave style, which leads me to suspect the TV was not sold with it.

The image shows a greyscale collage of individual pictures of 11 young moss (Physcomitrium patens) plants. In each image, moss cells grow away from a central point (the position of the original protoplast), forming wavy filaments which branch every so often. Cells in the center of the plants (chloronemal cells) are darker as they have a lot of large chloroplasts. Cells on the edge (caulonemal cells) are lighter as they only have a few small chloroplasts.

Are these little aliens 👽 or baby moss plants🪴? 😄

This collage is a great example of the power of plant regeneration. Each of these individual 7-day-old moss (Physcomitrium patens) plants was regenerated from a single protoplast (a plant cell with removed cell walls).

Boiled hooves and moonshine=a good time

The image shows cells organized like bricks in a wall. Cells are roughly rectangular with magenta outlines (cell walls) and are filled with green, irregular sphericalish chloroplasts.

Plant cells can be filled with chloroplasts, as shown in this image of moss gametophore phyllid ("leaf") cells. These cells have not been stained with fluorescent dyes; we only observe the autofluorescence of chloroplasts (green 🟢) and of the cell walls (magenta 🟣)
