Reading Sword Catcher and I am loving all of the characters, but especially the Ragpicker King - he reminds me a little of Kaz Brekker. Or who Kaz would quickly grow up into in Ketterdam, really.

The way Julian and Emma talk about each other in their heads is so painfully poetic and full of yearning and deep rooted love. Just the way either one mentions the other is dripping with love. Any time Emma brings up Jules’ eyes, any time Julian sees Emma smile, and time either one is in pain..

This is the year I’m listening to books that I’ve needed to read for a long time; books from beloved series. Finished Bloodlines earlier in the year, now TDA. Both Vampire Academy and The Mortal Instruments have a special place in my heart, deep rooted in nostalgia.
Finally reading The Dark Artifices. I’ve been a Shadowhunters fan since 15, so it’s wild to not just finally finish TMI, but also TID and now read this series. I’ve still got another series left, but I’m going in the order suggested. Emma reminds me SO much of Aelin from ToG in the best of ways.
Saw these colors and knew I had to do jungle hah.
Monsteras are fun to draw; jungle plants are great until you have to figure out how you want to draw vines and hope they come out well.. Another palette challenge in the bag!
