Hannah is the keynote speaker at our Autumn Meeting on the theme of Blended Families. Hannah knows a lot about CMY and blended families, as she wrote her dissertation the novel The Young Stepmother.

An interesting book on a similar topic is Islands of Abandonment by Cal Flynn (1921). She also visits Chernobyl but not in Belarus.

Yes, her biographer Christabel Coleridge describes her as very handsome. That portrait is a bit sentimental too.
