A peaceful, rainy scene of a stream with lush trees on either side, and a bridge in the middle with two cranes on it. There are pillar-like mountains a ways behind the bridge. The tree trunks are narrow and straight but they are covered in a dense covering of small pointed leaves. A faint rainbow cuts through the rain behind the cranes, highlighting them and bringing warmth to the otherwise cool image.

I wanted to do a fully nature scene after doing Night Market, so I chose part of the Zhangjiajie mountains (I've always wanted to visit those), the Golden Whip Stream

My piece for Streets Of Zine’s Ascent: Night Market! Inspired by a photowalk video through Hongya Cave in Chongqing - there was so much to look at in the video I tried to squeeze all my favorite aspects into one illustration! Most importantly the colors 💛

My time at DreamWorks is coming to an end for now, I’m so happy to have had the chance to contribute to the bluesky phase of some shows in development, and I hope to work together again in the future 🩵
