But yeah, I spend a lot of time thinking about The Matrix as a world and as a property, and Beyond is absolutely the clearest distillation of its spirit outside of the original trilogy

Falling in love with this short as an impressionable teenage Matrix stan led me to obsess over Studio 4°C, leading directly to me watching Tekkon Kinkreet - my favourite animated movie of all time
