Jane Goodall has died.
She devoted her life to advocacy on behalf of chimpanzees and, after living among them,shared valuable insight into their lives. She advocated too for the wellbeing of other primates and the environment

She has been a magnificent inspiration.

New image processing techniques “refreshed” older Hubble data showing a portion of the Eagle Nebula. This structure is 9.5 light-years tall and 7,000 light-years distant from Earth, and is one of many nebulas in the Milky Way.
