In 2021 I missed a layover and the last flight home at O'Hare. Panicked, I checked Midway for flights and found just 1 leaving in ~90 min. I bought the ticket, grabbed an uber, and sat in fate's hands. I ended up making it onto a peaceful, nearly empty, flight and this was my view home
