It’s a fairly simple concept, take crustle and add a fossil to its back; also based on fossil poachers and angry hermits, also the Daimyo Hermitaur from Monster Hunter obv. The shiny is reference to Plum Daimyo Hermitaur!

As you can probably guess, they’re based on the Paolumu from Monster Hunter World along side Honduran white bats and dandelions. Their shinies are a reference to Nightshade Paolumu!
