Once the base layer dried, I started stippling increasingly bright shades of green with big, soft makeup brushes.

I keep twisting and turning the brush to get random shapes. I'm focusing the light towards the middle of each panel.

I'll start refining after a couple more layers.

I won't say much else about it 'cos it is a very short game, think maybe Frog Detective kinda length, and I do want to let folks enjoy the little mystery you have to solve. Suffice to say, it's a brilliant little game and I desperately want to see more from this developer, Carimara is a delight.

The old lady sitting at a table in her cottage with a bowl of soup, she's staring at the player character with a grin on her face and says "You curious little guy..."

I think the thing that first struck me about the game was the visuals, it has a sort of stop-motion look to it, a sort of lo-fi Studio Laika if they did German expressionism, the few characters are just wonderful, big face conveying big emotions that are magnificently well animated.

The super creepy Owl perched on a door, it has bizarrely human like features and instead of feet, has two distinctly human hands. Along the bottom there's a series of cards, the character's hand is hovering over the Owl card which is enlarged.

We play as a little goblin man who's been summoned to deal with a haunting in a creepy old lady's basement. We interact with objects and characters to gain cards, which we use to ask questions of the strange denizens of the cottage. The more information we find out, the more we can ask. It's neat.

I'm honestly shocked to see this Kickstarter struggling. Everyone I know that has tried the demo has been gushing about this one.

Gavin has shown himself unfit to be President. This is why we should let our current President take a third term, despite his age. Who cares what the constitution says.

I don't like acknowledging this asshole at all, but I do believe these sort of rage bait content creators are detrimental to the medium of games, they take up so much of the space and dominate conversations with this behaviour. And they just move on to the next person they're going victimize.
