Yup
Interestingly, Firefly was a lot of recycled ideas from Whedon's script for Alien: Resurrection, which also featured a rag-tag bunch of space smugglers, and once you notice the parallels it becomes clear how little meat Firefly had on its bones. Alien: Resurrection is a mess, but holds up better.
I've rolled credits after 28 hours. Yes, Promise Mascot Agency deserves GOTY status, especially by doing SO MUCH with just a weird little truck driving between cutscenes. PMA is the mascot of LESS IS MORE.
But I wanna call attention to its ace/aro representation!
The space-toilet malfunctioned and he got vacuum-flushed
Folks keep telling me I've got great taste, but I do think you should give yourselves some credit, because finding people you trust and whose tastes you vibe with is just as much on you, y'know? I can't take the credit, I just love what I love loudly.
Outlaw Star mentioned!!!!!

Please help Hammam's family survive Israel's genocide, which has left them sick, starving & homeless. They've been displaced without a tent again, & desperately need help. His disabled brother Abood has a broken leg & urgently needs surgery:
Hey folks, Squid's fundraising right now, please go by and throw 'em a few something.
Is there anything we could do for you? Crowdfund anything?
Do you think Firefly could ever have such a wonderful line delivery as this in Outlaw Star?
I THINK NOT!
This is not an exaggeration, I was quite a fan of Firefly back in the day, saw the movie in the cinema, hell I still have a replica Cunning Hat. But god damn did it age poorly, and was wildly derivative of anime that Whedon didn't think people would notice he ripped off.
They already have a Firefly animated series, it's called Outlaw Star and it's so much better.
Adam Baldwin was literally *the* guy who named GamerGate and made it go viral. It was just some loser 4chan/incel YouTuber shit before then. They spammed him to get his attention because they knew he’s also a psycho loser and they wanted to make it go viral, and he did it. And it worked.
Thanks for coming along folks!

Demon Tides is very nearly at that Overwhelmingly Positive mark on Steam... but it should honestly have passed it weeks ago.
A VERY open-world collectathon platformer with very technical movement. Kinda Bowsers Fury meets Wind Waker. You start with a full moveset, then unlock customization for it.
Ah, I'm happy to hear I help!
For what it's worth, I've got ads set to the absolute minimum allowable by Twitch, I'd turn them off entirely if I could, so I'm not too concerned about ad revenue, I'm happier for folks to throw some bits and tips my way every now and again.
brilliant -- This St Patrick’s Day, Steam goes green with Games from Ireland 2026.
Folks tell me they listen to my streams while doing housework and tasks and such, and I always love hearing that, because you know what? I do that too, if I'm hanging up my washing, I always gotta have a YouTube video on. I'm happy to be that voice in the background for others.
I wanna be clear about this, I love lurkers. You keep on engaging however you want, I'm just happy people are showing up.
Just about every niche in videogames is BURSTING with exciting stuff. I appove of the rise of specific-focus showcases and demo bundles.
I'm also a bit scared of what The Big Catch is going to be like when it's done. The previous demo version was an ~8 hour standalone game.
Oh, that's why my metrics have taken a dive recently - Twitch pushed a new update that doesn't count someone as a viewer if they don't have the Twitch tab in focus
RIP everyone who watches streams in the background, Twitch has no idea how people actually use their platform
When you choose the movie and everyone hates it
Played a bit more of Lucid Blocks, and it remains extremely cool. Like exploring someone's game of Minecraft gone wrong. Rolling hills open into a sky full of floating trees around a mile-high house, iterations of it stacked into the sky. Below, a nexus of chrome cubes that stretches on forever.
