Give me all the “woke,” “loser,” “not-Henry-Cavill” Superman you want — if you’re able to deliver this kind of solid piece of cinema magic.
And give me low expectations, because honestly, they're the best tool for enjoying anything.

I asked them afterward if they thought the movie felt long (because it is long), and they hadn’t even noticed.
I didn’t expect it to go that way… but it was truly a JOYride.

I went with my nephews , who aren't exactly the best-behaved when they're outside the house, to say the least and they reacted to the movie exactly how they should have:
They laughed at the funny parts, they got scared and sad when the story called for it...they even DANCED to that punk rock song.

Sure, I’ve liked a few superhero films over the last couple of decades, but never have I experienced the mix of emotions this one gave me.
Yes, it has its flaws — but WHO CARES? There's WAY more joy in return.

Many people who wrote about Gunn's Superman pointed out all its flaws and defects.
I'd like to thank them for that — they set my expectations so low that I couldn't possibly be disappointed when I eventually watched it.
And guess what? I ENJOYED it like no other superhero movie in ages!
