Forgot to also mention the fact that the timing of the pandemic actually made remote work accessible! There was absolutely no way I could've afforded to move to a different city/area for a job straight out of uni. Online networking was also accessible and more of it was happening before.

If I didn't have a family support network, I wouldn't be here. If I wasn't provided kit from DSA at university, I wouldn't be here. If I wasn't provided with extra funding and opportunities from orgs like @limitbreak.co.uk , @codecoven.bsky.social , and my university, I wouldn't be here.

My first games job was paid so poorly, and I wasn't provided with the tech required to do the job. I couldn't afford to move, so my parents let me stay. I spent the majority of my first paychecks on health because of burnout. This industry is not accessible without some level of privilege.

I finally finished mario wonder. I'd left it at the last few levels for a while because I was sad to be finishing it. But I'm so happy I did because the final levels gave me some good laughs. Also, the interactive credits are very cool.

Lots of the tiny skateparks are often mini replica's of real skateparks too!

I build and ride tiny little skateboards with my fingers. Sometimes I even go to events and meet other people who ride tiny skateboards.

Also just plus 1-ing the Fitbit. I've also got one and turned all the notifications off apart from health related ones like high heart rate and reminders to move about. Other ones are probably good too, but it works well for me!
