I mainly brought that up because so many people seem to think that the only reason Pokopia is good is because Game Freak didn’t work on it, which isn’t true at all, haha.
Just to clarify: The game was published by Nintendo and The Pokemon Company.
Game Freak also did in fact work on this. They worked alongside Omega Force, the studio under Koei Tecmo that made Dragon Quest Builders 2.
There’s a lot of misinformation going around that Game Freak didn’t work on this.

I remember when Twitch streamed a bunch of anime on Crunchyroll and this was a part of that.
The reactions from people during the first episode compared to the last episode was something to behold.
BTW Something that I don't think the game tells you: When a Pokemon shows up in its habitat, no other Pokemon can show up in it. That's just it's home.
You can move it out into a house and another one can show up there, though.
I'm trying to take it as slow as I can, just building as many habitats as possible and just making the place look better.
