Humanities subjects would be difficult for AI, but even if AI could mark multiple choice and keyword questions and was able to mark as much as it could recognise and leave the rest to humans then it would speed things up.

I actually think digital exams are more likely. We trialed OCR’s digital mocks recently and they worked well. The only problem is the awarding bodies don’t work together to standardise any process.

Don’t know much about AI marking but I can see a limited case for it. Tick boxes 😀

I run exams at a secondary school, in person is the only way in this setting I believe.

In the future digital exams could work well if well implemented but the pilots have been kicked back repeatedly.

HMT won’t care how it’s paid for or how this affects the club, they’ll just want to be certain of the investment.

That’s not what I’m suggesting. I’m suggesting that fans are being promised something amazing, but we don’t know how it will be paid for and how that will affect the club in the future.

I tend to think that’s important, and I would have thought it would be more transparent.

To be honest, I’m surprised at how little scrutiny is being applied by Blues fans. The plans look brilliant, but doesn’t the bottom line matter?

It’s clear what they’re trying to do, it’s a tilt and I think they need to change. But neither are anywhere near world class, or best in the league in their position. It makes them better, but how much better?

United haven’t had a coach that improves their players since Ferguson.
