I love this!!

I verbally model this for students long enough until they start to believe it.
Saying ‘we can do hard things’.
Designing tasks that have natural progression and increase in complexity.
Being there with an helpful push/question, or better yet highlight a successful student to help them.

I like this idea! I’m doing one of those well-loved Desmos activities today🤣.
I post answers to problem sets at the same time I assign the work. Giving students access to answers on a regular basis is very helpful for them. I don’t need to be the ‘gate-keeper’ of answers esp w AI solvers available.

My math teacher friends! Fun stuff to share with students on Monday! Some MATH for 2025: 1. 2025 itself is a PERFECT square: 45² = 2025 2. It is a product of two squares, namely: 9² × 5² = 2025 3. It is the sum of THREE squares, namely: 40² + 20² + 5² = 2025 4. The last perfect square? 1936 44² = Year 1936 5. It is the sum of the cubes of all the digits from 1 to 9: 1³ + 2³ + 3³ + 4³ + 5³ + 6³ + 7³ + 8³ + 9³ = 2025 6. It is also the squared sum of all the numbers from 1 to 9: (1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9)²=2025
