the idea I have for a different au for my main sona is to have them not touch the controller that kick-starts this entire timeline -

before being transported to the cyberspace, they had access to a charm that would let their "spirit animal"/past life (axolotl without the perk of being able to go out of water) out in order to turn into a human

I am considering a few more things regarding this version of my sona

lore wise they live in a cyberspace, transported via game controller, where pressing a button gave her the tech equipment & cyberpunk outfit to adapt and survive within the new realm
