Lawyer: Federal agents detain Guatemalan man, 29, with no criminal record - The New Bedford Light Immigration agents blocked the car that he and his wife were driving in and smashed a window to detain him without presenting a warrant.

ICE agents blocked the car of
Juan Francisco Méndez, 29, and his wife. As the couple awaited their lawyer, agents smashed the rear window and pulled them from the car. They took Mr. Méndez, who has no criminal record, into custody.
