They squandered the most political capital they’ve had in a year.
Yep all performative. They believe in nothing.
Because his job as the leading Dem in the Senate is to keep everyone together, to wrangle votes. To get the support in his own party. He failed. Again. Let’s not forget he caved on the last budget negotiation as well. He has rubber stamped the MAGA agenda too many times.
How much more political negotiating influence could we have delivered them last week. How could they NOT hear that message.
Voters delivered democrats all the political capital possible on Election Day. If they give up on healthcare, I give up on them.
Same. I will actively seek to support primary challengers. Locally, I’m FINDING primary challengers to spineless dweebs in my city council. I’ll take it to the next level.
Democrats would do well to remember that trusting a party defined by deceit and bad faith isn’t just naïve, it’s dangerous to democracy itself.
