I drew a bird every day in January. Here was the very last one—the spotted pardalote. I’m proud of myself. I last attempted #birbfest in 2023 and only finished 22 birds! 🪶 had to make him a bit cheeky to celebrate!

Hi! I’m drawing a bird every day in January and today is the red-backed shrike! I needed some comfort today so I used a lot of soft candy colors in the body. Unfortunately, my procreate keeps crashing and I’m fed up!!! Anyone else dealing with this? Any tips! #birbfest #art 🪶 #procreate

Ok January 20th! So many complicated emotions today. But here is the White-throated Magpie-Jay. What a beautiful bird. Totally in love with the little crest feathers 😭💙🪶

Working on today’s bird—a white-throated magpie-jay💙🪶 but also thinking about the power of community, and how I can support my neighbors and friends. We garden every year in our (tiny) backyard and I’m planning more foods to share, native plants for pollinators, and of course, feeding birds!🌱
