Mum is recovering well, getting used to her recovery routine while her eye heals.

Being in Mum's flat without her feels weird, the hospital kept her in overnight after her op. Bringing her home tomorrow. Yet another sleepless night so far... *sigh*

Mum is having surgery on her eye tomorrow, for the next week I'll be staying with and caring for her while she recovers. I won't lie, I feel so nervous. It's not the only time I've helped care for her though, so things should be fine.

Yesterdays meal of Quorn Cumberland style sausages, mash and petis pois in a big Yorkshire pud with Bisto gravy. 😋

Early start at hospital for mum tomorrow, got to be up for 5am and be there by 7:30. At least it's just an MRI. Cooking a nice lunch for us after. Quorn Cumberland style sausages, potatoes (mash for me, baby taters for her), petit pois and Bisto gravy. And mine will be in in a giant Yorkshire pud! 😋

Apologies I haven't yet posted pics of last weekend's Doctor Who screening yet, so much is happening. Mum's health is priority at the moment, her bad eye is giving her grief again (rupture) and I need to be with her when she goes for her MRI for a separate issue. (1/2)
