Hmm. Strangely I find Wooyoung the easiest to write imo

head over heels but too tsundere to admit it (possibly even to himself) is one of my favorites archetypes so probably hongjoong XD

Hongjoong!! I love getting into his headspace. Especially lore Hongjoong specifically. I love teasing out his responsibilities as captain and how heavily the rebellion weighs on him. The pressure he feels and how protective he is over the rest of the members

hong and hwa for sure. I love playing around with gender identity / expression and they're just perfect for it
it's also no too out of character to write them as anxious and that comes naturally to me xD

seonghwa for sure. he's probably the most versatile member, he can be masculine or feminine, hot-headed or meek, a social butterfly or withdrawn, selfish or selfless. every trait fits a part of him so well, so depending on narrative he doesn't ever seem "out of character" for me

snippet from my hongsan wip: Yeosang is inhumanly patient. It’s clear how often he’s held a bow by the way he knows the exactitudes of how Hongjoong is doing it wrong, and how kind he is by his gentle instruction. “Focus on pulling your elbow backwards instead of outwards,” he says, as if Hongjoong can tell the difference. He flattens his palm against Hongjoong’s joint as he draws the string to illustrate, and his next shot is much closer to hitting the target, arrow bouncing into the cold-crunchy leaves to the left of the hay. “Good.” “‘Good’ is bold,” Hongjoong insists, mollified. “You have the strength to hold and shoot it, it’s just a matter of getting it to go where you want, now.” The arrows seem to have a different opinion. Not one gets close until Hongjoong can feel his own patience wearing thin, drawing the bow string by his grimacing mouth with a twinge in his jaw as he clenches his teeth. He closes one eye, looking down the arrow shaft, and lets go on an exhale.
