They also limited Trump's ability to randomly fire people for a bit, & there was some additional federal program funding in there.

The issue I'd argue is he hasn't been calling the defenses... The run stuff is what happens when you play nickel with undersized linebackers and a nickel back who is smaller as well. The run defense has actually been better with Shaq Thompson in there but he was out today and it showed.
