Boxing Day is now a unique opportunity for the EFL marketing team to promote going to a game on the traditional day after Xmas with mates/family and supporting the pyramid that constantly feeds the Premier League machine with players and coaches.

Erm… there IS football on Boxing Day you know.

The EFL does exist - so whilst you’re hand-wringing about the Premier League giving it the swerve, how about the narrative that the Championship, League One and League Two will benefit and enjoy their Boxing Day in the limelight?
