Unfortunately, meeting Americans on my travels simply reaffirms why I don’t go to the USA.

As if the Nazis didn't cheerfully murder LGBTQ+ people, the mentally challenged, and Roma and Sinti in literal carload lots. As fucking if! To say nothing of how many Slavic and Greek Untermenschen in occupied Eastern Europe starved from unbenign neglect.

Cries of Defiance and Songs of Joy in Los Angeles The protesters are being called unspeakably violent by the Trump administration. I mostly saw clergy sit-ins and Tejano bands.

This took a while to get done, but I've chronicled my day among the protesters in Los Angeles, and the idea that this is anything but a celebration of cultural heritage and a firm, nonviolent demand to protect family, friends and neighbors is totally ridiculous.

Just got the first new version of the Bible I have had in forever. The Message. It is true to the original text, not edited, just in very normal language. My Bible (that I cherish, so many notes in the free space) has gotten kinda heavy for me. Large print with lots of extras. So very familiar.
