A conservative on the US Bench, and up for possible election as USCCB President, Portland’s Archbishop Sample issues weak statement amid city’s ongoing ICE activity, stops short of criticizing administration’s policies on immigration. archdpdx.org/statement-on...

As Holman explicates the theological methods developed by Chenu, she models beautifully throughout the book those same methods in the development of her argument.

Holman walks us through the development of a number of theological methods that Chenu pioneered (with big pushback from the pre-Vatican II institutional Church). He was a key contributor to the development of the historical, socially engaged, contextual, and inductive methods used today.

Holman gives us a well-crafted biographical look at the remarkable life of the adult Chenu, from his joining the Dominicans at a young age, his work as a theologian, his contributions to the riches of Vatican II, through to his death at age 95.

Image of the front cover of Mary Kate Holman’s recently published book, “Marie-Dominique Chenu: Catholic Theology for a Changing World.”
I have just finished reading this recently published and fascinating book. While Holman writes as a professional theologian, the book is very accessible to a lay reader like myself.

A screen shot of the output when Google AI was given the first 32 prime numbers and asked to add them.
And to make matters worse, when I listed the first 32 prime numbers and asked Google AI to add them, I was given a different answer again.

A screen shot of the output when Google AI was asked to add the first 32 Prime Numbers.
I had originally asked Google AI to find me the sum of the first 32 prime numbers. I had been doing a math puzzle and wanted to check part of my work. The AI correctly listed the first 32 Prime Numbers but failed to add them correctly. The correct answer is 1851.

A screen shot of the effort made by Google's AI to add 13 numbers.
The AI in Google cannot even add 13 numbers.
Asked to add the numbers 71, 73, 79, 83, 89, 97, 101, 103, 107, 109, 113, 127, 131. The AI gave the answer 1183. The correct answer is 1283 which I found both from using a spreadsheet and by doing it by hand, the old fashioned.
