It's dangerous for people who don't understand that most of what it says is wrong; but after my doctors stopped caring I got desperate and tried it. So, so many wrong and stupid answers, but it helped point me in the direction of my thyroid, which my doctor had already ruled out for stupid reasons.

All I can picture is that stop motion jumping thing from back in the 90's where you would cut out all the frames except the peak of your jump with your legs out in front of you, that made it look like you were floating backwards.

Mostly because he has a pattern of doing it. It's also something he directly accused Obama of doing, and we know that's usually telling on what he would do.

I think that goes to my point. When someone with the Ego to say that gets told that those same fans are polling against him he'll do anything to change that.
I completely agree, they were always going to do war with Iran. But I do think the timing is deliberate.
And that doesn't take away from the fact that it's terrible and evil.

There's a difference between something being used as a distraction and something being just a distraction.
Yeah, there's a lot of people who use it like that and they're completely evil.
But it is possible for something to be a distraction and not be trivial.
If you zoom back far enough everything is one thing. But in this case each of the individual things usually has a specific set of things that needs to be done to stop or reverse the damage, and if you treat it as one all or nothing thing nothing will happen.
Fixing is important, but so is triage.
This is like when they point to US tent cities or empty shelves during covid and say THIS IS WHAT WOULD HAPPEN UNDER SOCIALISM!"
Can't it be both? Just one big chain of trying to distract from the last thing by doing the other horrible thing they actively want to do, purposefully never giving enough time to fully process how bad the last one was?
I think I said this poorly but my point is if you ignore that distraction is part of their motive, the distraction can work.
We need to fight the distraction without diminishing the fact that what theyre doing is worse than the distraction by people affected.
"This is a distraction" can be true at the same time as "This is a human rights violation." But "This is *just* a distraction" is when it becomes dangerous.
We have to acknowledge when they're doing something awful to distract us, and remember to deal with both things at the same time.

And while you're trying to stop the system you save as many people who are tied down as you can, because it's not all or nothing. Do we need radical change? Yes. Does not voting for one of the only two people statistically possible to win help? Not in any way but clearing your conscience.
No, what stops it isn't the presidential election. That's the end. Until the voting system is fixed you cannot affect things by not voting.
Some sort of not-winner takes all system is needes, like ranked choice.
Primaries, local elections that can actually be won, even congress.
